چکیده
Quercetin (QR) is a naturally occurring flavonoid organic compound that has poor solubility in water and highly unstable alkaline conditions, resulting limited absorption poultry. Consequently, our experiment, QR was employed as model compound, encapsulated within the caffeic acid graft chitosan copolymer (CA-g-CS) self-assembled micelles to enhance its solubility, stability exhibit synergistic antibacterial effect. The optimization of formula carried out using combination single-factor experimentation response surface method. vitro release rate CA-g-CS-loaded (CA-g-CS/QR) various pH media were studied pharmacokinetics white feather broiler chickens evaluated vivo . Additionally, activity investigated Escherichia coliCMCC44102 coli chicken origin test strain. results showed optimized for 4 mL water, 0.02 mg/mL copolymer, 1 mg QR, stirring at room temperature. encapsulation efficiency 72.09%. CA-g-CS/QR uniform size with an average diameter 375.6 ± 5.9 nm. pattern consistent Ritger-Peppas model. also significantly improved condition. relative bioavailability found be 1.67-fold reference drug, indicating substantial increase broiler. Compared original enhanced, evidenced by reduction half MIC MBC values. These suggest improves making it promising candidate clinical use.

Enhancing oral bioavailability of quercetin using novel soluplus polymeric micelles
To improve its poor aqueous solubility and stability, the potential chemotherapeutic drug quercetin was encapsulated in soluplus polymeric micelles by a modified film dispersion method. With the encapsulation efficiency over 90%, the quercetin-loaded polymeric micelles (Qu-PMs) with drug loading of 6.7% had a narrow size distribution around mean size of 79.00 ± 2.24 nm, suggesting the complete ...

Avermectin-grafted-N,O-carboxymethyl chitosan (NOCC) derivative was obtained by esterification reaction using dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCC) as dehydrating agent and 4-methylaminopyridine as catalyst. The structures of the conjugate were confirmed by FT-IR, (1)H NMR, and XRD. Insecticidal activities against armyworms, carmine spider mites, black bean aphids, and brown plant hoppers were investi...
متن کاملEnhancing the anti-colon cancer activity of quercetin by self-assembled micelles
Colorectal cancer, a type of malignant neoplasm originating from the epithelial cells lining the colon and/or rectum, has been the third most frequent malignancy and one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths in the US. As a bioflavonoid with high anticancer potential, quercetin (Qu) has been proved to have a prospective applicability in chemotherapy for a series of cancers. However, qu...
متن کاملNovel nanomicelle formulation to enhance bioavailability and stability of curcuminoids
Objective(s): Curcuminoids, comprising curcumin, demethoxycurcumin (DMC) and bisdemethoxycurcumin (BDMC), are bioactive phytochemicals with numerous pharmacological effects. Oral biological availability of curcuminoids is low due to the low aqueous solubility and rapid metabolism. This study aimed at fabricating a nanomicellar curcuminoid formula with enhanced pharmacokinetic properties. Materi...
